It got closer and closer to my area and started looking elongated. Once it was only a couple of suburbs away i realized that it was a blimp.

Now this was exciting because we very very rarely get blimps in Brisbane. Out with the binoculars and on the side it said “Holden”. As it got closer we didn’t so much need the binoculars any more, but as it turned we realized that there was a massive screen on one side that was displaying ads for various TV and Radio programs.
As it started falling into night the blimp against the sunset was a great sight, but that’s when the screen really came to life. It was amazing to see this glowing screen showing TV ads (full motion) on the side of this blimp flying over head. It was great!
It turned out that it was up from down south for the Indy weekend. But it returned a few days before and after the Indy.
One of the days that it flew over my house i thought of grabbing the camera to get a few photos (I know, it’s just a blimp. But i was excited.
) By the time a grabbed the camera i couldn’t see the screen much anymore. Still got some cool photos.
