Each day after i wake up, eat my Vegemite on toast, brew my coffee, i head to my computer and read through a few feeds while sipping my strong brew. Followed by the daily viewing of Zefrank which i’m going to miss.

Once that bit of variety for the day is out of the way i often ponder which task to get on with first. Sometimes the task that i should be getting on with doesn’t get me enthusiastic enough that i postpone it until later, never finding the spark that would get me to actually start that task.

It seems that everyday there’s that same problem, the barrier that gets pushed out of the way while another tasks gets done. The same shit forms around the bottom of the curtain.

When the tasks are limited, procrastination seems to be inevitable. Recently the tasks and opportunities have been on the rise and things have been moving forwards in a way that i have been wanting for some time.

Change is in the air and i feel good about it.

It's been a couple of weeks since i wrote last and there are a few reasons for that.

  • Having my birthday, then christmas, then new years and not really getting out of the party mode in between got me into a rather lazy mode.
  • I've been thinking about making some changes in my life through 2007 and want to make more happen this year than previous years. The constant thinking has lead to procrastination with other things.
  • While thinking about a variety of things i thought about this site. I want to change it in a fairly major way. The layout, the tone, the topics discussed.

So in the coming weeks i'm hoping to be more productive with a couple of new things that i won't mention just yet. But i would also like to change this website to reflect different topics and make it more of a personal blog than a 'variety' blog. There will be major changes across the whole lot, while keeping the way this blog is at the moment in an archived kind of way. If at times the activity is low, be sure to check back as i'm probably just working on the changes. So stay tuned as things move and change.

Yet another year has passed and it’s not long until the New Years celebrations begin.

Christmas was good, both of them. On Christmas day i had lunch with my girlfriends family, then two days later it was my family, the relatives together. Most of all i enjoy the food and being able to drink all day long without someone thinking your just an alcho, not that it matters.

Apart from celebrating Christmas i’ve just been having a good time, chilling out, consuming some of my presents (a nice variety of beers, collected as gifts over Birthday and Christmas).

Anyway thought i’d write a quick post to wish everyone a merry Christmas, happy New Year and enjoy the rest of your holidays and summer time. Make sure you keep up the liquids! ;)

It’s my birthday today, so now i’m 22. Had a really great BBQ with some good friends on Saturday night, which i think i’m still recovering from. Went to my girlfriends work XMAS party last night, which i was half buggered for.

Anyway on Saturday night we had heaps of fun, played heaps of pool, ate some tasty BBQ goodness and drank heaps of beer. I got a keg so we really drank heaps.

For a special bday breakfast i cooked up some snags and bacon and eggs on the BBQ (can’t get enough of the BBQ in summer) and washed it down with some champagne and a jug of beer. Great start to my birthday!

Only a week until my 22nd bday. For some reason bdays don’t have the excitement the used to. It’s a great occasion and good excuse to drink a lot (when isn’t there a good excuse!) and have heaps of fun, but it’s nothing like when i was a kid. Unable to sleep, anticipating what presents you will receive. I am looking forward to having a bit of a party though.

I really enjoy having my birthday at this time of year because my birthday is 7 days before XMAS, which is 7 days before New Years. So it’s 3 weeks of madness for me. WooHoo. :D
