I really enjoy reading entries on OreoCEO when Scrivs is pissed. The latest post of this ‘venting’, titled Martin Neumann Needs A Hug is hilarious.

Always an entertaining read, this one in particular. Sticking up for a mate and at the same time sticking it to someone that probably deserves it.

Here’s a funny quote from the post:

Anyways, let me show you how this game will go down. You have your new link from my little personal site on Technorati. You will probably get an erection from it because some action is finally happening for you. In any case, some people might talk about how a founder of 9rules acted improper towards a fellow blogger or some other shit and then it will be forgotten and that stuff the dufus is working on will continue to thrive while you will search for your next erection some place else.

On Saturday night i went to see the Little Britain Live show. For those of you that aren’t familiar with Little Britain, it’s a comedy based on a number of different characters played by Matt Lucas and David Williams. Both of them fitting the roles and switching between them so seamlessly.

Having watched the Little Britain show for some time, the opportunity to see them live was fantastic, as not only did i get the chance to see the characters that I’d laughed at for so long, but also the people that created the characters as they let their true self come through at times, moving in and out of script.

Most of the skits and characters are based around homosexuals and cross-dressers and take things to another level of humour. These guys have little to no shame and that’s what makes it such a hilarious comedy. I won’t say too much about the live show in case you are going to see it, but expect audience members to be picked on in ways that would not normally be accepted.

The set was cleverly designed and the change over between characters and setting was really well done. The Australian shows, in particular the Brisbane ones sold out very quickly and required extras shows to accommodate the the high demand. So if you haven’t got your tickets you won’t be seeing them. If you do have your tickets however, you’re in for a great show.

Two thumbs up!

So i haven’t posted for a while, but i had to mention something about the new version of 9rules, codenamed Ali.

First thing i noticed was the updated header. After looking around i noticed much more than that, and at first glance there were a couple of parts that i wasn’t too sure about. But after having a good look around i was quite surprised and i think a Homer quote would best sum it up, “Sweet, sweet candy”.

It's been a couple of weeks since i wrote last and there are a few reasons for that.

  • Having my birthday, then christmas, then new years and not really getting out of the party mode in between got me into a rather lazy mode.
  • I've been thinking about making some changes in my life through 2007 and want to make more happen this year than previous years. The constant thinking has lead to procrastination with other things.
  • While thinking about a variety of things i thought about this site. I want to change it in a fairly major way. The layout, the tone, the topics discussed.

So in the coming weeks i'm hoping to be more productive with a couple of new things that i won't mention just yet. But i would also like to change this website to reflect different topics and make it more of a personal blog than a 'variety' blog. There will be major changes across the whole lot, while keeping the way this blog is at the moment in an archived kind of way. If at times the activity is low, be sure to check back as i'm probably just working on the changes. So stay tuned as things move and change.

Yet another year has passed and it’s not long until the New Years celebrations begin.

Christmas was good, both of them. On Christmas day i had lunch with my girlfriends family, then two days later it was my family, the relatives together. Most of all i enjoy the food and being able to drink all day long without someone thinking your just an alcho, not that it matters.

Apart from celebrating Christmas i’ve just been having a good time, chilling out, consuming some of my presents (a nice variety of beers, collected as gifts over Birthday and Christmas).

Anyway thought i’d write a quick post to wish everyone a merry Christmas, happy New Year and enjoy the rest of your holidays and summer time. Make sure you keep up the liquids! ;)
